McSwain, Horton, and Bitterman Top the PRO Racing at the Smoky Mountain Expo Arena

    December 9 & 10 – White Pine, TN  Rounds 3 and 4 of the FMF Indoor Motocross Winter Series saw the first cold temperatures of the Winter, but racing was hot inside the Walters State Smoky Mountain Expo Arena.

    Tyler McSwain (Yamaha) was the big money winner of the weekend as he claimed a 1st and a 3rd each night of the racing. On Friday he put in a hard fought ride to claim 3rd in the 250 class behind class winner Robbie Horton (Honda) and Kyle Bitterman (Kawasaki). In the 450 class McSwain got the holeshot and took it all the way to the winners circle. Bitterman finished 2nd, Horton was 3rd, Isaac Teasdale (KTM) got 4th and Cody Gragg (KTM) was 5th.

    On Saturday in the 250 class, it was Bitterman, Horton, McSwain, Teasdale, and Gragg. In the 450 class Bitterman had the holeshot but fell early on. McSwain took over and got the win. Marshall Weltin (Yamaha) put in a strong ride coming through the pack to get second. Horton got 3rd, over Teasdale and Gragg.

    The next events in the FMF Indoor MX Winter Series will be December 30-31 (Friday & Saturday) at the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher, NC.
